KHB Media is an advertising and media agency that specializes on construction and property markets. As part of our growing and expanding plan, we are seeking a qualified candidate to fulfill the fulltime reporter position that fits to below requirements and duties:
Duties
• Suggest news angles and topics related to construction and property industries to editorial team
• Research and write articles in Khmer as assigned by editor
• Interview people, professionals and government officials to write the articles
• Collect information and data from firms, private and public institutions as assigned
• Review articles to ensure the truth, and accuracy
• Keep updated on happenings in local and world news related to construction and property sectors
• Build relationships with professionals, experts and officials related to construction and property industries
Requirements
• Fresh graduate or senior student at Department of Media and Communication (DMC), Royal University of Phnom Penh or other journalism-related fields.
• Proven experiences in similar position
• Great Khmer proficiencies, especially writing skills. English proficiencies are optional.
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet the deadlines
• Flexible, hard-working, willing to travel around Phnom Penh and to provinces
• Honest, reliable, committed, confident and outgoing
• Computer literacy and is able to use all standard programs related to media and journalism
